Charles Phillips has served as a leader for 20 years in the software industry. He was recently the president and director of Oracle Corporation, in which he was able to practice skillful leadership. When he was still in Oracle, Phillips was able to direct the company’s field organization and was able to oversee nearly 300 percent of revenue growth during his seven-year stay there. He was also a key player in Oracle’s acquisition strategy, which was a big success. It included specific transactions such as Hyperion Solutions, BEA Systems and Siebel Systems.

Before joining Oracle, Phillips was also a managing director at Morgan Stanley and covered the software sector. He was also a captain of the US Marine Corps before he started his Wall Street career.
